As Head of Marketing & Communications at DanBred, you will drive our global market presence and shape the narrative that positions us as the world’s leading genetics provider. With our superior genetic product as foundation, we are accelerating global growth toward 2030, and we need you to drive the marketing and communications function that supports this strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will strengthen DanBred’s position across international markets, build and lead a high-performing marketing and communications team, and deliver measurable impact on market positioning and commercial growth.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will elevate and refine integrated marketing and communications strategies to align with DanBred’s global business objectives and support expansion into key markets worldwide. You will enhance DanBred’s superior genetic advantage through compelling messaging for diverse stakeholders across regions, ensuring consistency and leading market communications across all channels and customer touchpoints. Close collaboration with technical and commercial teams will be essential to deliver strong brand impact and business results.
A core part of your mandate is to advance our digital platforms, content marketing, and the adoption of new technologies, ensuring DanBred remains at the forefront of digital engagement and marketing effectiveness. Your work will be closely aligned with sales management to develop targeted campaigns that drive lead generation, accelerate customer acquisition, and create clear commercial value.
You will build and lead a dynamic marketing team as a strategic partner to the business. The role requires both strategic vision and operational excellence. You will represent DanBred at industry events, build stakeholder relationships across key markets, and travel regularly to understand regional dynamics and strengthen cross-country collaboration. Oversight of all external and internal communications will also be central to your responsibilities

Your background
You have 7-10+ years of senior marketing experience within porcine genetics, animal nutrition, agribusiness, or related B2B animal and agricultural sectors. Your international background spans multiple regions, and you have a proven record of developing and executing market communications strategies in diverse markets. You have managed global product rollouts and successfully scaled marketing and communications initiatives internationally, supported by an established network within porcine genetics, animal breeding, and agribusiness.
Your expertise is rooted in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on industry relations, stakeholder communications, and relationship-based approaches. You combine strategic insight with commercial pragmatism, possess a deep understanding of market dynamics, and can identify and act on opportunities within the industry. Your ability to translate industry insights into actionable marketing strategies ensures measurable impact.
You have held marketing and communications leadership roles for at least 2–3 years and hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. Fluency in English is required, while Danish language skills are considered an advantage but not essential.
