Purebred results

Each year, 116,000 DanBred breeding pigs are performance tested at the testing station Bøgildgård. Because the breeding work behind DanBred genetics is based on such large amounts of data, you can benefit from sustainable genetic progress that contributes to high productivity year after year – not matter where in the world your pig production is located.

Testing station

The testing station has more than 30 years of experience collecting data. That gives a unique understanding of how to select pigs with the best genes. Only the highest performing boars – with optimum index – are sent to the AI stations, where they father the pigs of the future.
